Commission Earth Sound Art
Site-responsive, live-composed sound works created in conversation with place, environment, and the present moment.
Earth Sound Art can be commissioned for natural environments, galleries, museums, cultural spaces, retreats, ecological projects, and other settings that invite deep listening.
Each commission begins with a conversation about the site, intention, participants, and setting. I listen to the environment, including its acoustics, rhythms, weather, history, and living sounds. I then develop the work through field recordings and real-time composition using electric violin, telescopic didgeridoo, percussion, and voice.
Depending on the project, the work may unfold as a live performance, sound installation, site-responsive recording, guided listening experience, or artistic collaboration. Every commission is unique and shaped by its space, environment, set, and setting.
Artist Residencies
Earth Sound Art is particularly suited to artist residencies that allow time for sustained listening, field research, and site-responsive creation. I am interested in residencies centered on sound, ecology, place, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement.
Depending on the site and program, a residency may culminate in a live performance, sound installation, recording, workshop, or public listening experience. Residency invitations and collaborative proposals are welcome.
Pricing
Commission pricing is developed individually based on scope, location, duration, technical requirements, travel, and documentation. Residency terms are discussed separately.
